Privacy policy.
This policy describes how the owner-operated YouTube Pipeline application, represented by the Velonirix website, uses Google and YouTube account information.
Effective date: October 8, 2026
1. Purpose and access
YouTube Pipeline is a personal video-publishing and channel-inspection workflow. Its operator authorizes access to YouTube channels they manage using Google's OAuth consent process. The application is not open to outside users.
2. Data that may be accessed
Depending on the permissions explicitly granted, the application may access the authorized YouTube channel ID and name, video metadata, upload or processing status, thumbnails, playlists, channel analytics and other data made available through the approved YouTube API scopes. It may upload owner-supplied video files and update video metadata at the owner's direction.
3. How this data is used
Authorized information is used only to select the correct destination channel, prepare or verify authorized uploads, inspect status, prevent accidental duplicate releases, analyze channel performance where authorized, and troubleshoot the operator's own workflow. Access for another channel is not inferred from access to an existing channel.
4. Credentials and storage
OAuth credentials are intended to be retained in protected deployment secrets (including GitHub Actions secrets) rather than in public source code. Operational metadata, such as channel IDs and release status, may be processed in private project infrastructure and logs. Google access tokens are short-lived; refresh credentials remain sensitive and are not displayed in public pages. The provider of the infrastructure may process technical data needed to operate and secure the service.
5. Sharing and advertising
Google user data is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or transferred to independent data brokers. Technical service providers used to run this private workflow (for example GitHub or hosting providers) may process data as needed to operate the application. The operator does not grant other users access to connected channels.
6. Retention, deletion and revocation
Operational data is retained only while needed to run or audit the workflow. The operator can remove stored secrets, delete project records and revoke Google account access at any time. Google OAuth authorizations can be reviewed or revoked via Google Account connections. Revocation may stop the application's access to the connected channel.
7. Third-party services
The application uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, the operator also interacts with the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. The public Velonirix information site does not provide an account-registration form or custom visitor tracking scripts; its hosting provider may process standard technical access logs.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the application's functionality changes. For privacy or data-removal requests, contact the app developer using the developer contact email shown on the Google OAuth consent screen for YouTube Pipeline.
